Don’t let it consume you (2019)
“how many browser tabs and/or windows do you have open at a time?” this work is a response to my sophomore year Design Studio 2 (DS2) assignment that challenged us to amplify a smaller aspect of everyday life, society, existence. the digital age is something i am constantly fascinated by, from the internet to social media to the physical machines that house these things. it is a blessing and a curse being apart of Gen Z, the generation that is growing up with these rapidly-advancing technologies as parts of our day-to-day.
our society as a whole seems to be grappling with how much power technology has over us, how much information is at our disposal because of it, and how all of this can be manipulated.
this project was my first exploration of the subject matter using this symbolism.
